Prairie West Technical Services was formed with the purchase of the Siemens-Westinghouse service operations in the province of Saskatchewan. Our company now operates under the name Prairie West Technical Services, but operated under the name of Siemens-Westinghouse and Westinghouse Canada for over 30 years. All of the employees who worked for Siemens-Westinghouse at the time of the purchase were retained by Prairie West. In addition we have re-acquired many former staff that had left in the years prior to the purchase of the operations by Prairie West.

It has also enabled us to add additional skilled trades staff and professionals from major competitors, and more than triple our size since the purchase of the operations. Prairie West is one of the largest electrical service organization in Canada, and is in the process of adding additional offices across Canada and the USA.
